We're following Jesus together for the glory of God
and the common good.

When we come together to worship, we give our hearts and minds to God, and he fills us with his Holy Spirit. The gathering of God's people to worship is the ideal, a glimpse of Heaven on Earth. God also calls us to have true relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ in a context where we can grow and live out God's commands. We believe that both gathered worship and relational discipleship are vital to the practice of our faith and to following Jesus.

Here are some ways that we are loving others during the upcoming holiday season. We would love your help.

Locally: Thanksgiving Meal Box Drive

Globally: Operation Christmas Child

We have an opportunity to share love in our Stoughton community this Thanksgiving! LakeView Church would like to donate 20 Thanksgiving Meal Boxes for families in need at Sandhill Elementary School and within our church family.  Each meal will include: 1 frozen turkey, 5 lbs potatoes, 1 bag stuffing mix, 2 corn muffin mixes, 3 cans of veggies, 1 frozen pie, 1 tub Cool Whip and 1 roasting pan. Take as many donation tags from the Donation Table as you'd like and bring back the items anytime between November 8-22. Questions? Would your family like to receive one of these boxes? Contact Tara at the LVC Main Office, 873-9838, tara@lakevc.org.
We are joining the Samaritan's Purse project, Operation Christmas Child, to help them collect shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items. Operation Christmas child take our filled boxes and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way.  We have shoeboxes available in our church lobby that you can take with instructions on how to fill them. You can drop off your filled shoebox in our church lobby on Sunday mornings or at our church office during normal business hours. National Collection week is November 16th -November 23rd.
